The Bago City government congratulated Jhio Jan Navarro, a resident of Barangay Don Jorge L. Araneta in Bago, who ranked ninth in the August 2023 Psychometricians Licensure Examination with an 87.40 percent rating.
The 24-year-old eldest son of a sales supervisor and a housewife graduated at Ma-ao Sugar Central Elementary School.
Navarro finished his secondary education at Ramon Torres Ma-ao National High School, and proceeded to the University of the Philippines-Visayas (UPV) Miagao Campus in Iloilo for his tertiary education.
Navarro now works as a college instructor at the UPV Miagao Campus, the city said in a press release Nov. 28.
Mayor Nicholas Yulo, who congratulated the Bagonhon topnotcher, gave him a copy of the Sangguniang Panlungsod resolution congratulating and giving him special citation for his recent outstanding achievement.
He also received cash incentives from the mayor. ||
