Almost P24 million has been reappropriated to fund various projects of the Bacolod City Engineer’s Office (CEO), including a fuel station at Bredco, estimated to cost P7,585,275.
Around P4.7 million, meanwhile, has been allocated for the improvement of the Burgos cemetery perimeter fence and green sidewalk along Lopez Jaena Street; rehabilitation/improvement of street barriers at Lacson Street, P2.5 million; and rehabilitation/improvement of the Office of the Youth and Sports Development; P3 million.
The CEO also earmarked P2 million for the demolition/dismantling of the Bacolod Arts and Youth Sports (Bays) Center, and another P2 million to improve the office below the Police Station 1.
Other projects include the construction of a concrete sidewalk at corner Lopez Jaena Street and Gonzaga Street, P600,000; purchase and installation of ceiling fans, aircons, and electrical works at the Bacolod City College activity center, P4.2 million; and procurement of NAS (network-attached storage) system, P592,095.
The appropriation ordinance reverting the P23,981,045 from various capital expenditures of the city and reappropriating this to the CEO, was already approved by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod.| CGC
