Operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office seized more than P1 million worth of suspected shabu from three individuals during a buy-bust in Purok Lubi, Barangay 3, Bacolod Jan. 3.
Spearheaded by the City Drug Enforcement Unit, under the supervision of P/Lt. Col. Antonio Benitez, the operation led to the arrest of aliases “Moses”, “Erica”, and “Edron”, all residents of the place.
It yielded an estimated 150 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P1.02 million, and drug paraphernalia.
In a statement, the BCPO said the arrested suspects are facing charges for violation of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs), Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs), and Section 26 (conspiracy to commit illegal drug trade) under Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. | GB
