Himamaylan Mayor Raymund Tongson receives the Certificate of Commendation for the LGU’s implementation of the Electronic Business One-Stop Shop (eBOSS), from Anti-Red Tape Authority director-general Ernesto Perez, in a ceremony held at City Hall June 25.

He said the successful full implementation of eBOSS in the city will not be possible without the support of city government personnel, and the compliance of businesses and stakeholders.

The eBOSS program is in compliance with the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018. The Himamaylan LGU has fully automated, end-to-end, its business permitting and licensing processes for both new and renewal applications.

Tongson, in a press release June 26, thanked the Office of the President, Perez, the Department of Information and Communications Technology, ARTA regional officials, and the people behind the city government for supporting the digitalization program.

Himamaylan City is also the first LGU in Negros to host the ARTA Bagong Pilipinas town hall meeting.

It was held to inform barangays of Himamaylan of ARTA’s initiatives to simplify and automate government processes, along with the agency’s regulatory reform programs and activities. ||
