The Army’s 79th Infantry Battalion is offering a P300,000 bounty for the speedy arrest of rebel leader Roger Fabillar, alias Arnel Tapang, who is wanted for three counts of murder.
Lt. Col. J-Jay Javines, 79th Infantry Battalion commander, said anyone who can provide information that may lead to the capture of Fabillar will be P300,000 richer.
Hundreds of leaflets were airdropped by the Philippine Air Force Sept. 10 in the hinterlands of Calatrava, Negros Occidental, with information and picture of Fabillar.

The Roselyn Jean Pelle Command, or the Northern Negros Front, which the military claimed to have been dismantled, had owned up to the killings of Benjamen Javoc, barangay chairman of Lalong, Calatrava, as well as Renato Estrebillo and Rodel Nobleza in Calatrava last month.
Fabillar and six of his identified followers have been charged for murder before the Negros Occidental Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, in connection with the deaths of Javoc, Estrebillo, and Nobleza.
Javines advised the public to contact mobile numbers 0927-339-2481 or 0963-873-9989 for any information on Fabillar.
“I encourage everyone to continuously support our campaign against the terrorist group. Your information and cooperation are vital to us. Let us join hands and help the government in putting an end to the decades-long insurgency and bringing justice to the innocent civilians, who were killed mercilessly,” Javines said./GB
