Eleven persons were arrested in a drug-bust operation in an alleged drug den in Purok Galaluma, Brgy. 25, Bacolod City, Sept. 30.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency identified those arrested as Aira Claro, Jay-r Silva, the suspected drug den maintainer, Kurt Joel Bombate, File John y Acuña y Jayne, Demie Rose Pancho, Rebe Perez Jr., Nadjie Tornea, Rene Boy Matchan, Manuel Montecido, Joe Rey Vasquez, and Clarisa Advincula.
Joint drug enforcement operatives from the PDEA provincial offices in Antique and Capiz, and the Regional Special Enforcement Units Alpha and Bravo conducted the buy-bust operation that yielded 13 sachets of suspected shabu, weighing about 11 grams and with a standard value of P74,800, an improvised tooter, lighters, and buy-bust money.
Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.|
