Seven drug suspects arrested by the police yielded an estimated P204,000 worth of suspected shabu in separate operations in Negros Occidental on June 14 and 15.
The apprehension of “Joe”, 37, during a buy-bust on Monday at Lirazan Street in Kabankalan City led to the recovery of 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,000.
On June 14, the arrest of three drug suspects in Barangay Zone 4A, Talisay City yielded an estimated five grams of suspected shabu valued at P34,000.
Three other drug suspects were also arrested on the same day in Hinigaran, Sagay and Silay, resulting in the seizure of five grams of suspected shabu priced at P34,000.
All the arrested suspects are locked up in jail, pending the filing of charges against them for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. | GPB
