Police anti-drug operatives arrested three individuals and seized suspected shabu valued at P2.63 million in separate buy-busts across Negros Occidental in the past two days.
The largest haul was recorded in Bacolod City on June 5, when operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a high-value individual identified as Albert Alulod, 42, a resident of Barangay Taculing.
The suspect sold a sachet of the prohibited substance to an undercover police officer during a buy-bust in Purok Malipayon, Barangay 12.
Operatives seized 380 grams of suspected shabu valued at P2.584 million from Alulod’s possession.
On June 4, alias “Jose”, 33, was arrested at Sitio Lerio San Vicente in Barangay Antipolo, Pontevedra.
He yielded seven grams of suspected shabu worth P47,600 after he sold a sachet of the illegal drug to a police poseur-buyer.
On the same day, policemen arrested alias “Franko,” 37, in Purok 1, Barangay Masaling, Cauayan and confiscated P1,258 worth of suspected shabu. | GB
