Police seized P1.3 million worth of suspected shabu from a young mother in Purok Sigay, Barangay 2 in Bacolod City Wednesday, May 27.
The suspect, identified by her alias “Shainna,” was arrested after authorities recovered from her possession 200 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1.36 million.
Police classified the 23-year-old mother of three as a high value individual drug personality.
In a separate buy-bust in Barangay Tangub, police arrested a suspect identified by the alias “Josh.”
Authorities confiscated around 70 grams of suspected shabu valued at P476,000 from the suspect.
According to the Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region, the Bacolod City Police Office accounted for the bulk of the P45.2 million worth of illegal drugs seized across the region from May 18 to 24.
Police operations also resulted in the arrest of 53 drug suspects as authorities continued their crackdown on illegal drug activities. | GB
