Police seize P1.4-M in shabu

Police anti-drug operatives seized an estimated P1.4 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested three suspects in separate buy-busts in the cities of Bacolod and Dumaguete over the weekend.

On March 7, the apprehension of alias “Epax”, 25, at Zone 7 in Barangay Looc, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental yielded about 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at P340,000.

Alias “Tony,” 45, was also collared during the implementation of a search warrant at Upper Zone 2 in the same barangay, resulting in the confiscation of 66.3 grams of suspected shabu worth P450,840.

On March 6, the police arrested alias “JR” in Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City.

The suspect yielded 90 grams of suspected shabu valued at P612,000 to operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office City Drug Enforcement Unit. | GB
