The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) has confiscated P11.9 million worth of suspected shabu in week-long anti-drug operations, from Jan. 12 to 18.
The 16 operations yielded 1.75 kilos of suspected shabu and led to the arrest of 16 drug suspects.
In the same period, the BCPO arrested 10 suspects in anti-illegal gambling operations as well as 14 wanted persons.
Five firearms were surrendered to BCPO, which also recovered an explosive.
Meanwhile, five drug suspects were arrested by the police along with more than P190,000 worth of suspected shabu in Negros Occidental on Jan. 21.
Three of the suspected drug peddlers were collared at Sitio Bat-us in Barangay 6, Victorias City.
They were found possessing 25 grams of suspected shabu worth P170,000.
The two other drug suspects were arrested in San Carlos City and Isabela town, resulting in the confiscation about 2.8 grams of suspected shabu valued at almost P20,000. | GB
