Kabankalan diocese honors 4 Negrenses

The Diocese of Kabankalan honored four Negrenses in recognition of their exemplary service, and outstanding contribution to the faith community.

The awardees were Ma. Teresa Taganile, founding chairperson of the Ma. Teresa Charity Foundation Inc., architect Glen Paul Celo, Dr. Aladino Moraca, and Dr. Lycel Pacheco.

Each of them received an Episcopal Award conferred by Bishop Louie Galbines during the ceremony held on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the new St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Kabankalan City.

On Tuesday, Jose Cardinal Advincula, Archbishop of Manila, led the  solemn dedication rites of the Cathedral, which is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Kabankalan. | GB
