The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines said it will shut down its Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV Transmission Line on Sunday, Oct. 12, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., for maintenance activities.
The scheduled power outage will affect the Sum-ag and Hilangban substations under the franchise area of Negros Power, as well as the Valladolid, San Enrique, and La Carlota substations of the Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative.
In Bacolod, the outage will be experienced by residents served by Sum-ag Feeder 1, from national highway Petron near Sum-ag Barangay Hall, to Triumph Sum-ag branch, including portion of Punta Taytay, GK Village Housing, puroks Progreso, Mabinuligon, Providence, Mahigugma-an, and Santaville and JMC Village.

The whole area of Bago City will also be affected, as feeders HF1, HF2, HF3, HF4 are under the Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV line.
Noceco, meanwhile, said that areas to be affected include the whole of Pulupandan, Valladolid, and San Enrique; whole of Pontevedra, except barangays Mabini and Zamora; whole of La Carlota City, except for barangays Haguimit and Yubo, and portion of La Granja; Hinigaran barangays Miranda, Camba-og, Anahaw, Tuguis, Baga-as, and portion of Gargato; and Villacaña, Barangay Robles in La Castellana. | CGC
