Two police officers, who were engaged in a drug buy-bust, were injured after being hit by a car in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City Thursday night (Sept. 12).
Initial investigation showed the black sedan driven by alias “Jesus” bumped into the policemen, Corporals Cubon and Soriba.
The vehicle of alias “Jesus” also hit a tricycle, according to the police.
Cubon suffered minor injuries while Soriba was treated at a hospital.
Despite the incident, the buy-bust of Police Station 7 turned out to be successful, with the arrest of alias “Joefer”, who yielded an estimated P136,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Alias “Jesus” and alias “Joefer” are now detained at the Police Station 7 custodian facility, pending the filing of appropriate charges against them. | GB
