Moises Padilla inaugurates P3.7-million Crisis Center

The P3.7-million Municipal Crisis Center in Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental is now ready to serve clients.

Mayor Ella Celestina Garcia-Yulo and Vice Mayor Mathias Segundo Yulo led the inauguration and blessing of the facility on Aug. 19.

It will serve as a safe haven for women and children who are victims of abuse or are facing personal crises, offering them protection and support, a press release from the municipal government said.

The project was implemented with an allocation from the town’s 20 percent Development Fund, with project engineer Agnes Glia Mabag.

Management and operations are handled by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office led by Kersey Sumadhay. ||
