A total of 1,314 indigent senior citizens in Victorias City, Negros Occidental availed of P7.884 million in social pension from the city government during the distribution held at the Don Alejandro Acuña Yap Quiña Arts and Cultural Center on June 10 and 11.
Mayor Javier Miguel Benitez led the distribution of social pension organized by the City Social Welfare and Development Office.
The payout covered the monthly stipends from January to June 2025 amounting to P6,000 per beneficiary.

The initiative aims to ensure the timely and organized distribution of stipends, taking into account the health, safety, and physical needs of senior citizens.
Benitez, the congressman-elect of Negros Occidental third district, reaffirmed his support for the city’s continuous efforts to uplift the welfare of the senior citizen community. ||
