San Jose police station inaugurated

The blessing and turnover ceremony for the newly-completed San Jose Municipal Police Station (MPS) was held March 25 in Brgy. Tapon Norte, San Jose, Negros Oriental.

The ceremony was led by P/Captain Jose Edrohil Cimafranca, officer-in-charge of the San Jose MPS, and was graced by P/Lt. Col. Janette Rafter, deputy chief of the Regional Logistics and Research and Development Division of Police Regional Office 7, along with Cpt. Vladimir Ivan Dominguez – chief of the Real Estate Property Section REU7, and Lt. Col. Jul Mohammad Jamiri – deputy provincial director for Operations of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO).

Also in attendance were San Jose Mayor Mel Nick Logronio and members of the Sangguniang Bayan, as well as other guests, who all gathered to celebrate this important milestone in strengthening law enforcement and public safety in the municipality, the NOPPO said in a press release.

Retired P/Brig. General Ñino David Rabaya turned over a donated computer and printer, further enhancing the station’s operational capacity and efficiency.

The blessing was officiated by Rev. Fr. Carmelito Limbaga of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in San Jose, who invoked Divine guidance and protection for the officers and the community they serve.

The new police station stands as a symbol of commitment to public safety, peace, and order, reinforcing the dedication of law enforcers to provide better service and security for the people of San Jose, the NOPPO said. ||
