He added that the city is the second-highest user of GCash, following San Fernando City, Pampanga.

He expressed optimism that Victorias could top the ranking by Nov. 15, and encouraged residents to increase their use of GCash for digital transactions, the city said Nov. 6.

Benitez also joined the Victorias Component City Police Station in their outreach initiative Nov. 5, aimed at fostering safety and responsibility among the youth of Hacienda San Jose in Barangay X.

The event, led by P/Lt. Col. Terence Paul Sta. Ana, acting city police chief, brought together children, who learned personal safety, good behavior, and community responsibility.

The outreach activity is part of Victorias PNP’s ongoing efforts to connect with the community in meaningful and compassionate ways.

Through initiatives like this, both the city government and the police continue to demonstrate their commitment to building a secure, supportive, and thriving community for everyone, the city said. ||
