A senior citizen and his grandson died of electrocution at Hacienda Carugiat in Barangay 13, Victorias City, Negros Occidental on Thursday (Sept. 19).
Initial police investigation indicated that a live wire fell on a metal sheet at their house.
When the 19-year-old touched the metal sheet, he got electrocuted, and collapsed.
His 60-year-old grandfather tried to pull him up, but he was also electrocuted, according to the police.
Both victims were immediately brought by their neighbors to the Victorias City Emergency Clinic, where they were declared dead on arrival, the police said. | GB
