Forty fugitives have been accounted for in Negros Occidental after their arrests within a single day on Feb. 5.
In a statement, the Police Regional Office-Western Visayas (PRO-6) said it considers the arrests as a milestone.
PMaj. Mary Grace Socorro Borio, officer-in-charge of PRO-6 Public Information Office, said the apprehensions of 71 wanted persons was a product of the relentless intelligence-driven campaign against fugitives.
These impressive numbers underscore PRO-6’s unwavering commitment to providing Western Visayas with the peace and security they rightfully deserve, Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, police regional director, said in a statement. | GB
