The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office remains a top performer of the Police Regional Office 6 in the campaign against wanted persons in Western Visayas, for the month of April this year.
Of the 513 wanted persons accounted for by the PRO6, a total of 278 fugitives were arrested by NOCPPO, 32 of them listed as Most Wanted Persons, police records show.
P/Brig. Gen. Flynn Dongbo, regional police director of Western Visayas, said that the arrests of 513 persons with pending warrants were the results of the 489 police operations conducted all over the region.
On the other hand, the Bacolod City Police Office netted 12 most wanted persons, and 30 other wanted persons.
Dongbo commended all police unit commanders and their tracker teams in Western Visayas for their patience to locate and arrest the law violators and hold them accountable for the offenses that they have committed.
“This achievement was made possible because of the strong coordination and collaboration between and among the police and the community,” he added.
From January to March this year, the NOCPPO also topped the campaign against wanted persons in Region 6./GB
