The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) in Tawi-Tawi has, by far, registered the highest attendance among members of the House of Representatives, with over 95 lawmakers attending the two-day event that started May 23 in the municipality of Bongao.
Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, one of the main proponents and prime movers of the BPSF, was pleased to see 95 lawmakers attending the two-day service caravan, traveling great distances just to witness the revolutionary program of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at work.
Romualdez represented Marcos as keynote speaker during the service caravan in Tawi-Tawi, with Gov. Yshmael Sali and Rep. Dimszar Sali both acting as local hosts for the event.
The Tawi-Tawi BPSF is the 18th installment of the Serbisyo Caravan that aims to cover all 82 provinces in the country.
In attendance from the House of Representatives were senior deputy speaker Aurelio Gonzales II, deputy majority leader David Suarez, majority leader Manuel Jose Dalipe, House minority leader Marcelino Libanan, representatives Jurdin Jesus Romualdo, Rodge Gutierrez, Janette Garin, Erwin Tulfo, Daphne Lagon, Geraldine Roman, Ernix Dionisio, Joel Chua, Edvic Yap, Maria Carmen Zamora, Tsuyoshi Anthony Horibata, Miguel Luis Villafuerte, Ron Salo, Francisco Jose Matugas, Maria Rachel Arenas, Gerville Luistro, and Jose Teves Jr., among others.
Also present were Basilan Gov. Hadjiman Sabbihi Hataman-Salliman, Sulu Gov. Abdusakur Mahail Tan, and mayors Jimuel Que, Abduhasan Ismail Sali, Suraida Muksin, Rhodesia Sali, Nur-Fitra Ahaja, Wasilah Abdurahman, Tiblan Ahaja, Hadzri Matba, Al-Shalid Salih, and Mohammad Faizal Jamalul.
“With this number of local and national officials witnessing how the BPSF truly serves the people, I will have no doubt that many more will join us in this very important endeavor. Sana sa susunod ay mas marami pa tayong maimbita dito sa BPSF,” Romualdez said. ||
