Eight more business establishments in Bacolod City received their Safety Seal certificates Nov. 19 for complying with the government’s minimum public health standards to curb the spread of COVID-19.
These include McDonald’s East, KFC East, Chowking Lopue’s East Centre, Mang Inasal Singcang, the Happy Beginners School of Learning, Imperial Appliance Araneta, Jollibee Araneta, and Greenwich Araneta, that were validated to be compliant by the Safety Seal and Inspection Team, led by Business Processing and Licensing Office head Stella Rose Rayos.
Those awarded with the Safety Seal will be allowed an additional 10 percent onsite capacity beyond the prescribed accommodation as per Resolution No. 127-A, series of 2021, of Inter-Agency Task Force, Rayos said.
More establishments will be issued similar certificates in the coming weeks, while online applications are encouraged through the official Facebook page of the Bacolod Permits Division, she added.
Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia commended the compliant establishments for doing their part in the city’s continued fight against the virus, a press release from the city said.
The Safety Seal Certification Program was launched to affirm and acknowledge that an establishment or public transportation unit is compliant with minimum health standards, is using or has integrated StaySafe.ph with its contact-tracing method, and is a holder of the requisite business permits or franchise. | NND
