7 Bacolod police stations get new chiefs

The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) reshuffled its police commissioned officers occupying key positions for leadership development and to ensure continuous delivery of quality police service effective Jan. 7.

PCol. Joeresty Coronica, BCPO director, presided the simultaneous turnover of command ceremonies and installation of new commanders for Police Stations 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 at the BCPO covered gym.

PCapt. Efren Legada is the new officer-in-charge (OIC) of Police Station 1, replacing PCapt. Francis Depasucat, who was designated as assistant chief of Mobile Patrol Unit.

PMajor Rondyl Tapang was replaced by PCapt. Andro Maapni, former BCPO spokesperson, as Police Station 3 chief.

Tapang was designated as assistant chief of the City Operations Management Unit.

PCapt. Ramie Sayson was named OIC of Police Station 5. He replaced PCapt. Hazel Oropel, who is now the logistics officer.

The OIC of Police Station 6 is PCapt. Peter John Ramos, succeeding PCapt. Rosalino Pugoy, who was designated as public information officer.

PCapt. Jay-R Reyes is the OIC of Police Station 7, replacing PCapt. Dax Santillan, who was designated as assistant chief of the City Investigation and Detective Management Unit.

PCapt. Genus Davis was designated as OIC of Police Station 10.

Others given new assignments were PCapt. Glen Montano as Traffic Enforcement Unit chief, PLt. Regino Robles as general services officer, PLt. Conan Gadayan as assistant commander of Police Station 4, and PLt. Anabelle Abalayan as assistant chief of Camp Administrative and Resource Management Unit.

Coronica reminded the new station commanders and division chiefs to perform their duties with dedication, professionalism, and integrity, and to give their best in their new assignments. | GB
