6 BCPO personnel get medals

Six personnel of the Bacolod City Police Office received medals from PNP chief, P/Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr., for meritorious accomplishments in the performance of their duty, Nov. 10 at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City.

The recipients of the Medalya ng Kadakilaan (PNP Distinguished Conduct Medal) were Maj. Joery Puerto, Police Station 8 commander; P/Lt. Joven Mogato, chief of the BCPO Drug Enforcement Unit; and P/SSgts. Jimedel Dellonardo, Roberto Jiballa Jr., Frederick Fronda, and Jefferson Nueva, in recognition for their significant accomplishments in drug buy-bust operations held in Bacolod City.

Azurin visited the PRO6 Nov. 10 for the meeting of the Local Peace Engagement Teams that was also attended by various stakeholders in Western Visayas, and aims to strengthen the fight against terrorism and all forms of criminality in the region.

He also congratulated the awardees and expressed his satisfaction over the continuous conduct of anti-illegal drugs operations and the campaign against all forms of criminality.

“Indeed, your sterling accomplishments contributed so much to nation-building of our government. We greatly appreciate and value your everyday hard work and service,” Azurin said in a statement, said./GB
