A minor drowned at Linaw Bubong in Barangay San Miguel, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental on March 30.
Initial police investigation showed that the five-year-old victim and his two siblings went for a swim in a river despite being warned by their father not to do so.
Rescuers brought the boy to a hospital in La Carlota City, where he was declared dead on arrival, the police report said. | GB
