Five drug suspects are now locked up in jail, following their arrest and the confiscation of about 7.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P47,600 in Negros Occidental on Dec. 7, police records showed.
Two of them, including a 33-year-old woman and a 28-year-old jobless man, were apprehended by the police during a buy-bust operation at Hacienda Faraon, Barangay Cabahug, Cadiz City.
Their arrest yielded five sachets of suspected shabu and P500 in marked money.
Another drug suspect in Barangay 4, San Carlos City was found possessing 2.3 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P15,640.
In Sagay City, a 50-year-old tricycle driver yielded 2.7 grams of suspected shabu valued at P18,360 during the operation in Barangay Rafaela Barrera.
The police also recovered about two grams of suspected shabu worth P13,600 from a drug suspect at Bangga Dose in Barangay Zone 1, Talisay City. | GB
