Five alleged drug personalities were arrested by the police following a series of buy-bust operations Nov. 5 that also yielded about P120,000 worth of suspected shabu.
A buy-bust operation in Sitio Cagay, Barangay Su-ay, Himamaylan City, led to the arrest of a suspect identified by authorities as Joven Ramos.
Police also seized five grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P87,500, and P500 in marked money.
PNP operatives also nabbed two suspects–Shin Shin Mahinay and Noel Licaros– in another buy-bust operation in Barangay 5, San Carlos City.
Three grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P24,000 and P600 in marked money were also recovered from Mahinay and Licaros.
Another suspect identified as John Paul Higino, meanwhile, was arrested during a buy-bust in Barangay 13, Victorias City, that also resulted in the confiscation of P4,300 worth of suspected shabu, P300 in marked money, P300 in cash, as well as the recovery of a 125 XRM motorcycle.
Ike Alojado was also arrested for a similar offense in Barangay San Miguel, Murcia.
The apprehension of Alojado also yielded four sachets of suspected shabu, with a market value of P3,060; P300 in marked money, and assorted shabu paraphernalia.- GPB
