Four drug suspects were arrested and more than P40,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized by the police in separate buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental on Thursday, Nov. 12.
Angela Jacqueline Persy, 24, and Merjun Velasco, 21, both residents of Kabankalan City, were arrested in a buy-bust operation at Crossing Ambush, Barangay Manalad in Ilog town Thursday night.
Their arrest yielded five grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P34,000, P500 in marked money, P40 in cash, a cellular phone, and a Rusi motorcycle.
Another buy-bust operation at Mabini Street in Barangay 3, La Carlota City, also led to the arrest of Apollo Villanueva, 38, of the place.
All suspects are now locked up in jail, the police added. – GPB
