Four associations from Bacolod City received livelihood grant of P150,000 each from the Office of the Vice President (OVP) under its Mag Negosyo Ta Day (MTD) flagship program March 20.
The four beneficiaries are the Kabalaka People’s Livelihood Association, Manayaosayao Farm Workers Association, the Adiangawan Small Farmers Association, for the growing/production of mushroom products, and the Concerned Crop and Livestock Producers Association, whose focus is poultry-egg laying.
The turnover of assistance was held at the Panay and Negros Islands Satellite Office of the OVP, based in Bacolod City.
The MTD is one of OVP’s flagship programs, aiming to provide entrepreneurial opportunities to Filipinos belonging in the vulnerable and disadvantaged sectors.
OVP will continue to serve through services that have a lasting impact on the lives of the Filipino people, its press release said. ||
