The price per liter of gasoline continues to increase, with a P0.30 add-on effective today, April 18.

This will be the third consecutive week of increases for gasoline, with net increments of about P9 since the start of this year.

Kerosene will also increase by P0.10 per liter, while the price of diesel will drop by P0.40 per liter, the first rollback since the start of this month.

Oil companies said the mixed adjustments in the prices of petroleum products reflect the changes in the international market.

Effective April 11, oil companies also implemented a per liter increase of P2.60 for gasoline, P1.70 for diesel, and P1.90 for kerosene. These resulted in a year-to-date net decrease for diesel at P1.95/liter and kerosene at P3.45/liter, as of the second week of this month, the Department of Energy Oil Monitor showed./ CGC
