300 new cops eyed for NIR

Three hundred policemen and policewomen are up for recruitment in Negros Island Region.

PLt. Col. Joem Malong, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR), said on Monday, March 9 they are now accepting applicants.

The 300 attrition quota earmarked for PRO-NIR by the Philippine National Police (PNP) include 223 males and 77 females.

Malong said the screening and application process will be conducted by the Regional Recruitment and Selection Unit-Negros Island Region, ensuring that the recruitment process remains transparent, merit-based, and in accordance with the standards of the PNP.

Through a thorough evaluation, only the most qualified and deserving applicants will be selected to join the police service.
