Three siblings were arrested by the police during a buy-bust operation Sunday at Rivera Street in Brgy. 3, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The siblings, who are now facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were identified by the police as Emily Vicente, 43, and her brothers Ruel, 30, and Dunn, 28.
P/Lt. Col. Arnel Solis, regional police spokesperson, said the arrest of the Vicentes led to the recovery of about 35 grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P238,000.
Solis said that Ruel and Dunn, who were previously arrested for a drug offense, were tagged as high value individuals. Their sister, Emily, was a newly identified drug personality in Kabankalan City./GB
