Gerald Hiseta, 41, of Cadiz Viejo, Cadiz City, driver of the trailer, was rushed to a hospital in Bacolod City.

Traffic investigation showed that at around 4:30 p.m., the hauler driven by Santillana with Edgardo Florendia, 36, of Barangay Nato, La Castellana, as helper, and the trailer truck were traveling towards Binalbagan, while the Isuzu dump truck loaded with sand and gravel was going towards the opposite direction.

Upon reaching the area near the Himamaylan City Hall, Jimenez lost control of the steering wheel, swerved to the left and collided with the approaching trailer truck.
