The modernization of Banago Port in Bacolod City, worth more than half-a-billion-peso, and formally inaugurated by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. Dec. 12, is expected to spur wider economic activity across Negros Occidental, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) said.
