The House of Representatives adopted three resolutions Aug. 12 congratulating and commending double Olympic gold medal winner Carlos Edriel Yulo, bronze medalists Nesthy Alcayde Petecio and Aira Cordero Villegas, and members of the Philippine delegation to the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.

Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo announced that all the medalists, their coaches and coordinators in the 2024 Palarong Pambansa, Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) Meet, the Regional Schools Press Conference, and regional and national Festival of Talents (FOT) will receive cash incentives from the Dumaguete City government.
