A total of 10,000 Marikina residents and their families, who were evacuated at the height of the floods brought about by heavy rains from Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon (habagat), will receive P5,000 each in financial aid this week, under the Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
