Anticipating to start its operations by the third quarter of the year, the Negros Electric and Power Corp. (Negros Power/NEPC) has started purchasing essential electrical materials and supplies, which signals its readiness to become the new electric distribution utility in central Negros, once it gets a go-signal from the government.
