A Negrense Army officer, who is the commander of an elite unit of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, has finally been promoted to the rank of brigadier general, as approved by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr, based on the recommendation of Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro.
