The provincial government of Cebu has extended for 15 days the temporary ban on the entry of live hogs, piglets, boar semen and pork-related products from Negros Island.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin directed national government agencies (NGAs) and local government units (LGUs) to closely coordinate with the Department of Energy, Department of Information and Communications Technology, and the Anti-Red Tape Authority to streamline the permitting processes and requirements for energy projects and integrate this into the Energy Virtual One-Stop Shop (EVOSS) system.
