Pinongan ordered to improve NegOcc UHC status

Hospital Operations Division chief, Dr. Girlie Pinongan, assumed on April 3 her added responsibility as officer-in-charge of the Provincial Health Office, and Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson ordered her to improve the implementation of the Universal Health Care in Negros Occidental, by the end of the year.

NegOcc joins bid to host Palarong Pambansa 2024

Negros Occidental is again joining the bid to host the Palarong Pambansa 2024, said Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson.
Lacson said that Negros Occidental was supposed to host the Palarong Pambansa next year but it was opened for rebidding by the Department of Education, after Cebu expressed its intention to host the national multi-sports competition.
