When faith and facts collide

Looking at politics in my home country at the moment, with certain Christians seemingly lined up against everyone else (lay people as well as other denominations), I am often reminded of Albert Einstein’s comment, “science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind.” Science is concerned with facts, discerning the underlying truth of a matter. Leonardia’s camp to exhaust all legal remedies on poll protest

The camp of former Bacolod mayor Evelio Leonardia declined to issue a statement, for now, in reaction to the poll protest it filed against incumbent Alfredo Benitez, but stressed that they will exhaust all available legal remedies to ensure that justice will be done to the voters of the City.
