Locally Stranded Individuals returning to Negros Occidental are again barred to do so, just for a week.

This after the Regional Inter Agency Task Force has approved the request of Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson for a one week moratorium on the return of Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) to Negros Occidental, starting Oct. 3 to 9.

Amid slight drizzle, former Negros Occidental Gov. Alfredo Marañon was buried Oct. 4 at a family mausoleum in Sagay City, after being accorded with a 21 salute, in recognition of his services rendered to Negrenses being a public servant for more than 50 years.

(VMCFI) is providing preventive COVID-19 measures to 16 public schools in the local government units of Victorias, Manapla and Cadiz, as classes in public schools opened Oct. 5.

The deployment of three teams of military doctors, nurses and medical aids may have been not enough as Mayor Evelio Leonardia has requested more nurses and other health care workers to be fielded to Bacolod City private hospitals.
