The Land Tax Division of the Bacolod City Treasurer’s Office is encouraging taxpayers to settle their real property tax (RPT) early to avail of the 20 percent discount.
Acting City Treasurer Arlene Memoria said Nov. 23 that the CTO will limit the number of clients that they will serve starting Dec. 1, to comply with the minimum health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The CTO-LTD will accept advance RPT payments next month, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Sundays, at the 3rd floor of the Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Memoria said in a press release from the city.
She added that the CTO will also be open on Dec. 4, 11, and 18 (Saturdays), and on Dec. 8 and 30 (non-working holidays) to accommodate taxpayers.
Taxpayers are requested to bring their previous official receipts or Tax Declaration for accurate identification of their properties, Memoria said.
