Two students from Enrique B. Magalona National High School in Negros Occidental have earned national recognition after qualifying for the Top 10 of the FedEx International Trade Challenge 2026-Philippines.
Lyka Talmag and Maureen Arambulo secured their place among the country’s top qualifiers in the annual youth entrepreneurship competition organized by JA Asia Pacific and sponsored by FedEx Express.
The FedEx/JA International Trade Challenge brings together students aged 15 to 19 to develop and present a comprehensive market entry strategy plan (MESP) for a product entering a designated international market.
The competition aims to strengthen participants’ knowledge of global trade, entrepreneurship, and business strategy.
Mayor Matthew Louis Malacon lauded the two students for their outstanding achievement, commending them for bringing pride and honor to the municipality of E.B. Magalona.
“Your talent and hard work have brought pride to E.B. Magalona. Padayon sa pagdala sang dungog sa aton banwa,” the mayor said, encouraging the students to continue excelling and representing the town with distinction. | GPB
