Two deep well drillers died of electrocution in Sitio Pispis, Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental on Thursday, March 21.
The two victims, whose identities are being withheld by the police, are both residents of Barangay Magballo in the same city.
Initial police investigation showed the victims failed to notice that the tubular pipe they were using for drilling touched a live wire of the Negros Occidental Electric Cooperative power line.
Both victims, who were severely burned, were declared dead on arrival at the Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City. | GB
