The first e-Commerce enabl-er company in the Visayas and Mindanao was launched in Bacolod City recently.
The Bacolod City-based Vijaya Merchant Solutions Inc., a SEC-registered corporation, is a pioneering endeavor that will serve the e-Commerce needs of business enterprises in central and southern Philippines.
It seeks to handle the promotion, selling and management of products and brands in online marketplaces like Lazada and Shopee.
Elena Pineda Gatanela, VMSI director and chief administrative officer, said that small and medium scale enterprises in Vis-Min have no direct contacts with e-Commerce platforms in Metro Manila which constitute 60 percent of the online market.
Gatanela, a certified digital marketer, added that with the existence of Vijaya, SMEs need not go to Metro Manila as they can provide them direct links with top e-Commerce platforms.
She said that Vijaya aims to be the catalyst for digital transformation of Vis-Min brands.
Vijaya is currently working local SMEs and brands, including Aldrtz Corporation, Fresh Start Organic, Azatre, and Tumandok, all from Bacolod; Maturan Pili Candies from Allen, Northern Samar, AL DI Foods from Iloilo, among others. ETL
