In a leap forward for Bacolod City’s public transportation sector, the AXPD Lines Corporation has launched 11 new state-of-the-art modern public utility vehicles that will serve five routes in the city.

The new vehicles will ply the Paglaum Village-Libertad Loop, Alangilan-Burgos Loop, Dona Juliana-Central Market Loop, Bredco Port-Northbound Terminal via San Juan Street Loop, and the Pahanocoy (CEGASCO)-Bacolod Gov’t. Center Loop.

AXPD Lines Corporation is a new business venture of the Deloso family, headed by Mae Angeline Parcon Deloso and Vicente Deloso II.

Established to provide transportation services within Bacolod City, Angeline said their venture was inspired by her father, Antonio Parcon, who is also a businessman.

After the initial launch of the 11 vehicles, she said the AXPD Lines is expecting 42 more to serve other routes in Bacolod. The AXPD Office is located between 10th and 11th streets in the city.

In yesterday’s launching, the new vehicles were blessed by Fr. Jonathan “Tata” Borromeo, with guests from Hino Motors, City PIO, BTAO, and AXPD business partners in attendance.

“As AXPD Lines embarks on this new journey, we remain dedicated to delivering reliable, safe, and efficient transportation solutions for the benefit of the community,” Angeline Deloso said./Ryle Sarmiento
